About Alison Sharp

19 years in the industry and I still have the travel bug!  I have first-hand experience travelling through Asia, Pacific, USA/Canada, UK/Europe and parts of South America and Africa.

It’s hard to choose a favourite, but having lived and worked in Europe I’d have to say the continent holds a special place in my heart. I can speak some of the languages – German & French (or attempt to!), love immersing myself in the array of cultures and scenery, and sampling the food & wine.

I have recently returned from a 3 week trip exploring every corner of Sicily which included sailing around the Aeolian Islands, a one week cooking school at a beautiful villa and self drive trip around the island. What an amazing destination !

One of the best things about Europe is the ease of which you can hop from one country to another. If you’re thinking about Europe travel then give me a call and I’d be happy to help you plan your dream escape!

I studied travel in the UK and am an expert on the destination. I also specialise in cruises (have been on 9 so far) and love creating tailor-made itineraries to suit, whether that’s for the perfect couple getaway or a unique European adventure.

Where is your favourite place to visit in Australia and why?
The beaches !  Basically anywhere on the beautiful coastline where you can swim, surf and then grab a fresh bucket of prawns.

What is your best travel tip when travelling to/in Australia?
Don't underestimate the distances if driving - you may not see anything except a s straight road for 100 +kms.

Where would you recommend clients travel to/in Australia and why?
Somewhere they haven't been to before - try something new.

What is the top thing you would recommend clients do in Australia (could be experiences, activities, food to try etc) and why?
If interested in quality food & wine visit an iconic winery, do a tour of with the staff and dine at the vineyard restaurant with matching wines - it will be a meal to remember.
