How long have you been with TMG? How long have you been in the travel industry?
Joined Nov 2019. In the travel industry 40 years!
Do you still have any clients from when you started in travel/with TMG? How long have they been clients of yours?
Yes, 30 years.
What makes them a special/loyal client?
Their repeat business.
What is the most memorable trip you have booked for a client?
In my AirNZ days at Pakuranga. Picked up a call from gentleman looking for special property for he and his wife (who was suffering from cancer) for a final trip overseas. I had just returned from a Cairns famil and had inspected a delightful boutique property at Palm Cove on the beach. I knew it was just right, and it was.They were most grateful.
What is the most impactful customer service you have offered?
Can't recall any specifics but have been involved with a number of compassionates over the years and these always draw out my customer service strengths.
What are the best thanks you have received from a client?
Customers always thank me during the return phone call followup and this is much appreciated.
What has been the biggest change/challenge you have experienced in the travel industry in the last 20 years? And how did you overcome that change/challenge?
Covid! By keeping busy and positive. Maintaining contact with customers.

Technology. Still dealing with it!!!!
