Covid-19 benefits will be available for travel in New Zealand and to Australia.
What are the Covid-19 benefits?
- Medical benefits if you are diagnosed with Covid-19 on your trip
- Cancellation cover if you or your family are diagnosed with Covid-19 and are unable to travel
- Cover if your pre-paid accommodation is shut down for deep cleaning
- Protection if your leave is cancelled because you are a medical front-line worker
- Overseas hotel quarantine costs if you are a close contact to an infected person and have been forced to self-isolate
What destinations are covered?
At this stage, the cover is available for travel in New Zealand and Australia. Cover for other destinations is not currently available but will be when borders start to open.

Claims relating to:
- Government travel bans
- 'Do not travel' warnings
- Government directed border closures
- Mandatory quarantine or self-isolation requirements related to cross area, border, region or territory travel
