Te Wiki o te Reo Māori

We are proudly embracing the heritage of Aotearoa and supporting Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) 14-20 September 2020.

We believe it is important to preserve indigenous culture and language all around the world, and our commitment starts here, at home so throughout the week we will be celebrating te reo Māori and exploring some of the Māori culture across Aotearoa.

Following the Tiaki Promise is also a way to embrace the heritage of Aotearoa by making a commitment to New Zealand. Tiaki means to care for people and place, and the Tiaki Promise is a commitment to care for Aotearoa, for now and for future generations. Read more about it here.

Check out the video to discover Māori Legends & Tales across Aotearoa, there are many unique places to visit and explore Māori culture so we've also handpicked some experiences around New Zealand for you to enjoy.
